 I'm Carol, I created Candle Collective UK in 2018 after I moved from Edinburgh to Liverpool in 2016 where all my candles are hand poured in small batches and meticulously checked by me.

 I began making candles after the idea to 'scent our wedding day' in 2019. Scents evoke such a reaction in your brain that it can instantly transport you back to a time, place or person, I knew I wanted to incorporate 'our scent' in to the day. I began researching and testing different waxes, wicks, containers and oil blends till I was 100% happy with how they performed. I decided on soy wax because its vegan friendly, cruelty free, longer burning, sustainable and much cleaner burning than some of its wax counterparts on the market.

I absolutely loved making the candles for our wedding day, I had one burning in the morning whilst getting ready and had one on each table during the wedding breakfast, people commented on the beautiful scent and even took them home! That scent is now part of our Signature Collection, Rhubarb & Custard and will always take me back to that day.
